Round 2 – Ulster Cyclo-cross series – Cancelled

Apollo Committee decided last night to cancel this weekend’s cyclocross race in Lurgan Park. The Committee deeply regrets having to make this decision and so close to the event, but due to circumstances regarding Covid-19, it was felt it wasn’t the best decision to continue with the race. Thank you so much to the people who offered their time to help out at the race, and we apologise to all the racers. We hope you understand. Stay safe Apollo committee.

All entries will be refunded

Proper cyclo-cross weather for Round 1 of the Ulster series

Rain, rain and more rain. The ground was muddy, the riders were muddy, the volunteers were muddy. What a great day. Super course set up by Square Wheels.

GP Brian Kinning

A great start to the 2020 cyclo-cross season and to getting back to racing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Many thanks to Glenn Kinning and his small band of volunteers for setting up, running the event and clearing up afterwards.
Top job guys.  The sun shone, the wind was light and the course was dry.
Report here.
