Event background
Raymond Beers, a great friend of ours, was involved in a serious accident in early 2022. Thanks to the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance, Raymond was able to travel to the hospital and receive care for his injuries.
In light of this, we would like to show our appreciation for the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance’s efforts on that particular day by hosting a cyclocross race, a sport that Raymond and many of us adore.
There will be a variety of races held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Cyclocross NI, Portadown. From junior to senior races, it will be a fun-filled day for all. We will also be having a host of prizes to give away in our raffle.
•Donations can be made on our Ride for Raymond Just Giving page via this link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/rideforraymond…. We are amazed by the generous amount raised so far for the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. This money will be used to keep such a vital service available 365 days a year. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.
•Entries for raffle tickets can still be made via our Just Giving page. If you are wanting to enter the raffle, donate your chosen amount. Raffle ticket entries are as follows:
-£5 for one ticket
-£10 for three tickets
-£15 for five tickets
Please ensure you include your name when donating via Just Giving, rather than completing as anonymous, otherwise tickets cannot be verified.
Once you have donated, send an email over to eastantrimcc@gmail.com, stating your name and the amount you donated to the page. After confirming your donation, you will receive an email back with your ticket number. Keep this number handy- it could be a winner
