Course description
This challenging course is being used for the fifth time by host club Omagh Wheelers and is set in the grounds of the Ecclesville Park and Forest in Fintona. Thanks to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council for permission to use the grounds. Facilities are excellent at the Ecclesville centre with ample parking and hot showers and changing rooms, a luxury for a CX race!
The course starts on the tarmac five a side pitch near the playground and moves around the outer edge of the park towards the forest and up a climb to an ancient rath before descending again back to the park.
The riders then take on a very technical section of cambers and trees including the infamous steep cambered semi circle, before riding through the stone gates to some more technical turns and the hurdles before coming back around to the start finish area.
Under 6 have their own mini course beside the start/finish with the U8s having an extension of this. U10s will take in some of the main course in the park whilst the U12s will take in most of the park including the cambered technical sections.

Number boards must be collected before practice and racing.
Closing times for collection of number boards is 15 minutes before the start of the race

Riders are asked to bring their own water for washing bikes. A bike wash area will be available on site close to the pits
