Rain, rain and more rain for the championships

The Ulster Cyclo-cross Championships took place on Sunday 7 December 2025 at Windmill Wood, Dungannon hosted by Island Wheelers. Rain arrived about 10 am and didn’t let up until about 2:30 pm. Tough conditions. Well done to all riders. A huge thanks to all at Island Wheelers for putting on a great event.

Registration is open for the 2025 Ulster Cyclo-cross Championships

The 2025 Ulster Cyclo-cross Championships are being held in Windmill Wood, Dungannon, hosted by Island Wheelers on Sunday 7 December. Registration closes at 8 pm on Friday 5 December.

Registration has opened for Round 5

Round 5 of the 2025 Ulster Cyclo-cross Series will take place on Sunday 23 November at McCrystal’s Cyclo-cross Track, Jenkinstown, County Louth.

Dunloy Cycling Club were meant to run the fifth round but there was a delay in getting access to the site they wanted to use. Newry Wheelers stepped in and with the support of Bellurgan Wheelers we are able to have our final round.

Sunshine for Round 4 at Ecclesville

Round 4 of the 2025 Ulster Cyclo-cross series took place on Sunday 16 November at Ecclesville in Fintona. Host club Omagh Wheelers last ran this race at this site back in 2022 where we had rain and wind all day. This time we had a dry day with lots of sunshine in the morning. A huge thanks to all who helped put on this event.

Update for Round 5

Unfortunately Dunloy Cycling Club has been unable to secure access to Limepark in Armoy for Round 5 of the Ulster Cyclo-cross Series. Newry Wheelers has stepped in and will work with Bellurgan Wheelers to host Round 5 at the McCrystal Track in County Louth on Sunday 23 November. Ulster riders are encouraged to support the race.

Round 3 – more fast racing on the running track

Round 3 took place at St. Columb’s Park in L’Derry on Sunday 2 November 2025, hosted by Foyle Cycling Club. Another great course with the running track being used for the start finish.

A wet day in Armagh for Round 2
